Overview
Renter's Digital Vault ("RDV") is published by Monarch Labs Collective, Inc. This policy explains what information the app handles, how it is stored, and the choices you have. RDV is designed so your rental evidence stays under your control.
Information We Collect
RDV stores the content you create in the app, including property details, room notes, photos, documents, and correspondence logs. If you grant permission, the app may attach precise location metadata to photos you capture for evidence purposes. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is transmitted to your private iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit infrastructure.
How We Use Information
Your data is used solely to provide app functionality: organizing properties, capturing and displaying evidence, generating PDF exports, and syncing records across your devices when iCloud is enabled. We do not use your content for advertising, profiling, or resale.
Data Storage & Security
By default, your records are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Optional iCloud sync uses your Apple ID and is governed by Apple's privacy and security practices. We do not operate our own cloud database for your rental content.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data leaves your device only when you choose to sync via iCloud, export a PDF, or share content through standard iOS sharing features. Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit; we do not receive your payment card details.
Your Choices
You can deny location access and still use RDV. You can disable iCloud sync in iOS Settings. You can delete properties, photos, and documents within the app at any time. To remove synced CloudKit data, delete the app data from your device and manage iCloud storage in Settings.
Children's Privacy
RDV is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
